Is my child eligible for Head Start?

Eligibility for the Head Start program is based on the following:

1. age of the child
   and
2. family income level
   or
3. categorical eligibility such as foster care status, homelessness or family enrollment in a public assistance program.

Additional points are given to children with a documented disability.
